Product Description The K&H Thermo-Kitty Bed (Sage) has a dual thermostat 4 watt heating unit buried deep within its thick, super soft, orthopedic foam base. It warms the surface 10-15 degrees above ambient air temperature to a cat pleasing 102 degrees when in use. The cover is washable. Indoor use only.

This rates a 6 (front) paws up from my group of 3 November 24, 2008 K. Kimlin (DC, United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My cats *love* this kitty bed. I often find two of them squished into it which is no easy task since each cat weighs about 12 pounds. They also have a K&H thermo kitty cabin but they prefer this bed; it is in constant use. The heat is at a low temperature safe for cats. Although the cover is easily removable for washing, I sometimes place a light baby blanket in it so cleaning is even simpler.
Hot Stuff November 23, 2008 Elizabeth Talerman (New York, NY USA) Camille (our cat) has never been so happy. She's curled up in the Thermo Kitty bed and we are saving on heating cost (with no guilt)!
Flimsy lining, not same quality as previous bed by same maker November 9, 2008 A. Consumer (Michigan) I bought a heated K&H cat bed last year and was thrilled with the quality. Very heavy fake nubuck outer cover, and thich heavy berber fleece interior. My outdoor cat used it in my unheated garage in Michigan during the winter, and loved it. Because it was filthy and covered in hard to remove cat hair, I decided to buy a new one this year. Big mistake -- this new cat bed is not the same quality at all. The cover is much lighter weight, and the interior lining is a flimsy velour that shifts all around when you touch it. Luckily I kept the old bed, and decided to clean it after all. It washed beautifully, and I am using it again this year. Spend the extra $20.00 and get the heavy duty model
Heat didn't work May 18, 2008 Helen (New York) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Not only the heat didn't work but out of nine cats only one cat went in it about five times and that was it, so for me it wasn't worth it. All my cats do like the Self Warming Thermal Cat Cushion which is half the price of this bed.
Good bed if your cats like it February 17, 2008 C.M. (Austin, TX) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Well, my two cats wouldn't have anything to do with the thing, so I took it over to my sister's house and her cats love it! I think a couple of things could make it better. 1. It's a little small. A normal-size adult cat really has to curl up to get in there. 2. It doesn't get that warm. It only gets a certain degrees up from the ambient temperature. It's almost hard to tell that it's on. That being said, my sister's Graci and Cali just love it. So, who am I to argue with that?
